Boyd & Evans began working together in 1968 and have traveled extensively to find images for their work. The Sungai series is based on photographs and sketches from Boyd & Evan’s 1991 artist-in-residence with the Royal Geographical Society’s Brunei Rainforest expedition to Borneo. The artists’ work can be sound in public and private collections all over the world including the Bank of England, Museum of Modern Art, NY, Metropolitan Museum of Art, NY, Tate Britain, and Christie’s Corporate Collection.
