1981-

Alexander Kroll was born in New York City and lives and works in Los Angeles. He studied painting at Yale University where he received a BA and Otis College of Art and Design where he received an MFA. He also studied at the Slade School of Art in London. Kroll has shown his paintings and drawings extensively across the US including: CB1 Gallery Los Angeles; James Harris Gallery Seattle; ACME, Los Angeles, Jessica SIlverman, San Francisco and the Armory Center for the Arts in Pasadena, among many others. He has an upcoming two person exhibition with Roy Dowell at Frederic Snitzer Gallery in Miami. Kroll has taught painting widely including: Art Center College of Design, Otis College of Art and Design, Cal State Long Beach and Yale University.
