Alex Majoli is an Italian photographer known for his documentation of war and conflict. He is an award-winning photographer whose professional works have been featured in publications such as Newsweek, The New York Times Magazine, and Vanity Fair. Recently he was named Magazine Photographer of the Year by the National Press Photographers Association for his images of the war in Iraq and of daily life in China, and was also the recipient of the Overseas Press Club’s prestigious Feature Photography Award for his coverage of the war in the Congo.
